A Living Church.
A Loving Family.
A Life-Changing Mission.

At Exchange Fellowship Church (EFC), we are a Spirit-led, Christ-centered community committed to loving Jesus and loving people — all people. We are a vibrant, growing family of believers from all walks of life, united by the transforming power of the Gospel and the call to live out God’s Word with boldness, joy, and compassion.

Planted in 2017 in the heart of Houston, EFC was birthed by God’s divine direction to be a beacon of hope, healing, and truth. We exist to build the family of God — a place where the broken are restored, the lost are found, and every soul is invited into a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ.

We are known for:
– Loving without prejudice
– Serving those in need with humility and joy
– Building up believers through the Word of God
– Creatively and boldly communicating biblical truth
– Equipping every person to live out their calling

Jesus gave us His life in Exchange of our lives. He took us as we were and is working on us to make us more like Him. We are not there yet but we trust in Jesus to get us there. Join this journey with us. You will fit right in! And we invite you to join us on this journey of transformation.

The Great Exchange! “For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.” 2nd Corinthians 5:21 (NKJV)

Our Lead Pastor

Pastor Bency & Rachel (Bini) Thomas

Faithful Servants of God, Shepherds of His People

Exchange Fellowship Church was birthed in 2017 through the obedience and surrender of Pastor Bency and Rachel Thomas, following a clear and divine directive from the Lord. Their journey of faith and ministry spans over 27 years of marriage, marked by unwavering dedication, sacrificial service, and a deep love for God’s people. Together, they have built a Christ-centered community in Houston that reflects the heart of the Gospel — healing, restoration, and transformation.

Pastor Bency was born and raised in Kerala, India, in a Catholic home. At the age of 18, he experienced a miraculous healing from demonic oppression and encountered Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior. He responded with full surrender, receiving water baptism and the baptism of the Holy Spirit. From the earliest days of his Christian walk, he recognized the call of God and committed his life to ministry. His journey has taken him through seasons of service in New York City, upstate New York, Atlanta, and now Houston — each step marked by faithfulness, perseverance, and a heart to shepherd God’s people.
