Pastor Meril and his wife, Jean, serve with deep humility and unwavering devotion as leaders of the Youth Ministry at Exchange Fellowship Church. Together, they have been entrusted with the sacred calling of guiding young hearts toward a life rooted in Christ. They are blessed with two beautiful children, Elizabeth and Eben, who bring joy and inspiration to their journey of faith.
Born and raised in India, Pastor Meril committed his life to Jesus Christ as a teenager, receiving water baptism and later the baptism of the Holy Spirit. His move to the United States for graduate studies marked a new chapter in his spiritual walk, as he embraced God’s call to serve with boldness and grace. Jean also surrendered her life to Christ at a young age, receiving both water baptism and the baptism of the Holy Spirit. She faithfully serves alongside Pastor Meril in every aspect of their ministry, embodying a spirit of compassion and strength.
Eight years ago, Pastor Meril and Jean pioneered the Youth Ministry at EFC, laying a foundation built on prayer, discipleship, and the Word of God. Their vision is clear: to equip youth and children to live Christ-centered lives, grounded in truth and prepared to face the challenges of today’s world with courage and conviction.
In addition to leading the Youth Ministry, they provide spiritual oversight for Children’s Church and Sunday School, nurturing the next generation with love, wisdom, and biblical guidance. Their leadership is marked by humility, consistency, and a deep reliance on the Holy Spirit.
Through their ministry, countless young lives have been transformed — not by human effort, but by the power of God working through faithful servants. Pastor Meril and Jean continue to lead with quiet strength, joyful hearts, and a steadfast commitment to seeing Christ glorified in every generation.
